The Project

Polvorón UHC, developed in collaboration with SandraTV, was an ultrahardcore Minecraft event for the Christmas season. The event lasted almost 4 hours and featured the traditional mechanics of this game mode, wrapped in a festive atmosphere worthy of the occasion. Everyone taking part could enjoy the tension of the match, the drop mechanics with cash prizes, and the constant fight against the environment to avoid losing health, creating breathtaking moments such as a dragon fight in the middle of the game.

From the name to the mechanics

Polvorón UHC was designed as a special Christmas event. To fill both players and viewers with holiday spirit, we put special emphasis on theming the match with classic seasonal elements. Starting with the name itself, a "polvorón" is a traditional Christmas sweet in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries.

In-game, the lobby was a cozy cabin decorated with Christmas elements such as wreaths, a decorated tree, snowmen, and more. Several interface elements, as well as the chosen resource pack, included small details that made the entire match feel much more festive. Even the central build featured an enormous tree and giant holiday sweets, which became the stage for the final battle, where Shadoune666 emerged victorious.

The gift that keeps giving

During the match, numerous drops kept falling from the sky. They were announced in chat so participants could rush to claim them, encouraging PvP encounters. Their contents were extremely valuable, and many of the players who made it to the end carried several items obtained from these crates. But that was not all: they could also contain cash prize tickets, making these gifts even more valuable throughout the experience. They did not just help in-game, they also distributed money wherever they landed. A true Christmas miracle!
